Currently the dental department provides general dental care for children and adults. We envision the provision of specialist care in the discipline of oral maxillofacial surgery, periodontology, orthodontics, prosthodontics in the near future, as well as the multidisciplinary management of patients who are medically compromised, with our medical and surgical teams.

Responsibilities include the repair and restoration of teeth, the replacement of missing teeth, and the detection of diseases, such as blood dyscrasias and tumors, that require the management of a dental specialist or a multidisciplinary team. Encompassing the promotive, preventive, curative as well as rehabilitative procedures to achieve good oral health as an integral part of general wellbeing.
